STEARNS 87700 Series NEMA IP23 Coupler Brakes are designed for application where mounting the brake between the motor and driven load is the preferred or most convenient location. The are excellent for applications where a brake is needed to ad to an existing equipment application without replacing the motor. Modification are required for brakes 50 thru 105 lb-ft. when applications of vertical above or below mounting are required.
